This Sunset hike will be really special. A wonderful track overlooking breathtaking views all along the way Al Bireh overlooks. Aley from one side and el Chouf from the other side, so you will get to see all of the spectacular views and natural sceneries.

The hike will be easy, as all sunset hikes.  We will walk together in one group.  There will be some uphill stretches at the beginning, but then it will become a flat path with some slight downhill.

As you should know by now, the local inhabitants will greet you at the end of the hike around a welcoming campfire where you can eat delicious traditional dinner.

WHAT TO GET: A light snack that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits and water. You must wear hiking shoes or comfortable walking shoes.  Get a light jacket since it gets cold during the last hours of the day and at night. Don’t forget to get a flashlight.

SPECIAL RATES:

- Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 20’000 LBP

- Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 15’000 LBP

- University students will have a discount of 10’000 LBP provided that they present their university card

- Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 5’000 LBP discount

- Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 10’000 LBP discount

PAYMENT TERMS:

- Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price

- Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 20’000 LBP

(e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms)

ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS

- Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event

- Always follow the guide on the designated trail

- Do not go off road without notifying the guide

- Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so

- Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member

- Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.

Randonnée du couchée du soleil

Al Bireh – Chouf

Etes-vous prêt pour une aventure palpitante au milieu des collines du Chouf ?

Venez alors nous rejoindre ce Dimanche pour découvrir la vie authentique de la région d’Al Bireh au Chouf et pour passer de très bons moments !                           

Notre randonnée au coucher de soleil sera vraiment particulière. Notre trajet sur un très joli chemin aux vues bien dégagées. Al Bireh surplombe Aley d’un côté et le Chouf de l’autre côté, ce qui vous permettra d’apprécier une vue spectaculaire.

La randonnée sera facile, comme toutes les randonnées au coucher de soleil. Nous marcherons tous ensemble, en un seul groupe. Il y aura quelques montées raides au début, puis ce sera un trajet plat avec quelques petites descentes.                                              

Comme vous devez le savoir, la fin de la randonnée se terminera autour d’un feu de camp préparé par les villageois et vous pourrez manger un délicieux repas traditionnel.

A EMPORTER:  Un léger snack tel que des fruits secs pour vous redonner de l’énergie et un sac à dos avec eau. Vous devez porter des chaussures de randonnée ou des chaussures de marche confortables. Apporter une veste légère car il fait froid pendant les dernières heures de la journée et la nuit. N'oubliez pas de prendre une lampe de poche.

REGLES D’ECOTOURISME ESSENTIELLES ET REGLEMENT

- Interdiction de fumer durant l’événement.

- Toujours suivre le guide sur le chemin indiqué.

- Ne pas emprunter un chemin sans en avertir le guide.

- Ne pas s’approcher d’une falaise, particulièrement quand le guide dit de ne pas le faire.

- Bien que les accidents soient couverts par l’assurance, la responsabilité du membre est toujours engagée.

- Parfois, pour des raisons indépendantes de notre volonté de légères modifications pourront être apportées à notre programme.

- Les règles d’Ecotourisme doivent toujours être respectées. Dans le cas contraire, en cas d’accident, l’assurance ne pourrait pas vous prendre en charge.
